Dance
I think dancing just might start with wishing.
Thinking.
Dreaming.
Hoping.
Me?
I’ve been
much too busy doing.
Planning.
Beginning.
Working.
Completing.
Making to-do lists and checking the items as I go.
Cleaning.
Mothering.
Instructing.
Correcting.
Worrying.
Going.
Going.
Going.
But today, I think it may be time for stopping.
Time for being.
Time for singing.
Time for dancing.
Time for joy .

ReplyDeleteAs usual, it's easier for me to write it than to live it. So . . . . I'm remembering to dance today . . . . . .
